1. November 17, 2012, 1:00-4:00 pm
Fenger High School, 11220 S. Wallace
Kids Off the Block presents their 5th annual Feed a Teen, feeding young people from the Roseland community. This community was the focus of a recent Hunger Week Talk at Loyola. Call 773-995-9077 for details.

2. November 22, 2012 (Thanksgiving Day) 11:00 am-2:00 pm
SW Chicago PADS in Marquette Park
Loyola alum Cynthia Cornelius will be serving Thanksgiving dinner at SW Chicago PADS. The meal is served at 1:00 pm, and typically, volunteers must arrive by 11:00 am. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Cynthia at 312-738-2452, extension 444 (work).

1. November 20, 2012, 3:30-5:30 pm
John Hope Community Academy, 5515 S. Lowe Avenue
Join the JTBF Staff for the Second Annual JTBF-John Hope Gates Millennium Scholars Application Essay Workshop. John Hope students participating in the Gates Millennium Essay Contest will bring drafted essays for advice on structure, grammar and content. You do not need to be a lawyer or law student to participate, so bring your friends and help these wonderful students earn a good-through-graduation scholarship to use at any college or university.

2. November 27, 2012, 3:45-5:00 pm
Chicago Bulls College Prep, 2040 W. Adams
Chicago Bulls College Prep students look forward to discussing higher education and careers in the law with volunteers. Students will also participate in a legal exercise to see how fun the law can be!

3. December 7, 2012, 10:00 am-1:30 pm (slots available)
William Augustus Hinton School, 644 W. 71st Street
Introduce Hinton students to careers in the legal field and help JTBF get this new partnership started!

4. December 11, 2012, 10:30 am-1:30 pm
John Hope Community Academy, 5515 S. Lowe Avenue
John Hope Community Academy students interested in the law will enjoy a Q&A over lunch with lawyers and law students who can provide information about the path to a legal career.

5. December 14, 2012, One-hour slots available throughout the day
Mather High School, 5835 N. Lincoln Avenue
Mather High School’s renowned Law Academy has invited JTBF again this December to present real-life legal problems to students. Students will have the opportunity to try their hand at representing a real client.
