Promoting Diversity in Clerkships Forum

The BWLA Judiciary Ad-Hoc Committee invites you to attend the “Promoting Diversity in Clerkships” forum for minority lawyers and law students which will feature current judges, as well as current and former law clerks. The panels will discuss the role of a judicial clerk, the benefit of clerking for your legal career, and the ins and outs of obtaining a judicial clerkship. There will also be a resume drop and an intimate question and answer session.

The program will take place on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, from 4:30pm-6:00pm at the Everett McKinley Dirksen United States Courthouse, located at 219 S. Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois, in Courtroom 1425. Confirmed guest include Judge Ann Williams, Judge Edmund Change, Justice Joy Cunningham, Judge Diane Larsen and Josie Gough of the Loyola University School of Law. This event is free and law students are encouraged to attend.
